About Year 4.....
Year 4 is such an amazing and exciting year where we learn lots of new skills.
Within Music lessons, we are taught by a music specialist how to play both the ukulele and the clarinet. As part of our Cliffe House residential trip, we practise resilience and independence whilst participating in a wide range of wonderful outdoor activities. And finally, we gain a deeper understanding of History based topics such as The Romans.
At the end of Year 4 we also now have a new Multiplication Tables Check (MTC), so we work really hard on making sure we know all of our times tables as we know this helps us with our Maths as we move up through school.
Take a look at the pictures and information on the page to find out more about Year 4.

Mystery Read
At Rowley Lane, we encourage a love of reading both at school and at home.
We are asking each child to read at least 60 minutes a week and for parents/carers to sign when they have done so in their Reading Record.
Your child will be entered into the draw for a chance to take home the ‘Mystery Read’ that week.
Please support your child to complete their
challenge.
